Since I’m enrolling in the Acoustics MSc tomorrow, I thought I’d post a link to a nice video on the subject. It’s a TED talk from Julian Treasure on acoustic design for different functional spaces. I’ve watched quite a few of his talks, and though I find them a little over-simplified, he does make sound studies accessible, which isn’t that easy to do. You can find the talk here.
I also wanted to include a link to the entries for this ‘Water Soundscape Composition Contest’ because there is some really great stuff there. I especially love Jono Gilmurray’s piece. Favourites?
